Information we collect

• Contact details you choose to enter: full name, email address, and phone number.
• Any general availability or interest notes you write in the optional message field.
• Your SMS category choices, the time of consent, the page you used, the consent wording version, your browser user agent, and your IP address when available.

We do not ask for health conditions, diagnoses, or treatment details, and we ask that you not include them.

How information is used

We use information to respond to your message, send the SMS categories you selected, provide updates on a coordination request you submitted, and keep records of consent.

SMS communications

SMS is optional. If you check an SMS box, we send only the category you selected: Account Notifications about your submitted coordination request, or Marketing messages with participation step guides, general research opportunity notices, and reminders (generally up to 4 per month). Mobile opt-in information

Mobile opt-in data, SMS consent, and phone numbers collected for SMS purposes will not be sold, shared, rented, released, or transferred to third parties for marketing, lead generation, or promotional purposes. This includes research organizations, trial sponsors, drug development companies, and third-party marketers.

If you separately ask for a courtesy introduction to a specific independent trial program, we share only the contact details you entered with that one program, and only with that separate, explicit consent. This is separate from SMS opt-in, and SMS consent is never shared as part of it.

Cookies and analytics

The site may use basic cookies needed for it to function. If you save resources, the article identifiers are stored on your own device only. Form contents are not stored on your device or placed in web addresses.

Data retention

We keep inquiry and consent records for as long as needed to respond to you, honor your choices, and meet legal obligations, then delete them.

Opt-out rights

Reply STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT to any text to stop messages. You may also email support@trialstepsnetwork.com to ask about, correct, or delete your information.
