Program description

The Trial Steps Network SMS Program is part of a Clinical Trials education resource. It has two separate categories. Account Notifications cover the status of coordination requests you submit, opt-in and opt-out confirmations, and HELP replies. Marketing messages cover clinical trial participation steps, general research opportunity notices, preparation reminders, and newly available guides and checklists. Trial Steps Network is not a research organization or healthcare provider.

Message categories

• Account Notifications. I agree to receive account notifications text messages from Trial Steps Network related to my request, such as coordination request status updates, opt-in confirmations, opt-out confirmations, and replies to HELP requests, sent to the mobile number I provided. Message frequency varies based on account activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help. Consent to receive these messages is not a condition of any purchase. Trial Steps Network does not sell, share, or transfer phone numbers or consent data to research organizations, trial sponsors, drug development companies, lead aggregators, or third-party marketers.
• Marketing. I agree to receive recurring marketing SMS messages from Trial Steps Network, including general research opportunity notices, clinical trial participation step guides, preparation reminders, featured website resources, and updates about newly available guides and checklists. Message frequency varies, generally up to 4 messages per month. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help. My information will not be sold, shared, or transferred to any research organization, trial sponsor, drug development company, or third-party marketer. Consent is not a condition of receiving any guide or other content.

Opt-in method

You opt in by checking one or both unchecked SMS boxes on our contact page or its Text Steps page and entering your mobile number. A phone number alone is never treated as consent. Consent is not a condition of purchase, access, or use of the website.
